You're invited to our Parisian workshop, where over 21 hours of handcrafting bring to life our interpretation of the iconic 1953 Type 2, crafted from raw Japanese selvedge denim whose unique patina reveals itself over the seasons. The Mileta cashmere cotton lining offers softness and comfort, while nine hand-sewn buttonholes and horn buttons mounted according to the Zampa di gallina tradition demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship.

Japanese selvedge denim

Selvedge, or "self-edge," denim is distinguished by its naturally finished edges, preventing fraying. This finish is achieved using traditional shuttle looms, producing narrow rolls of fabric with crisp, colorful selvages, often red. This process, although slower, ensures superior quality and increased fabric longevity.

handmade buttonhole

Each jacket features seven buttonholes crafted entirely by hand, according to the rules of tailoring. This precise gesture, the fruit of rare expertise, not only ensures superior strength, but also gives the piece a unique character, palpable both to the eye and to the touch.

zampa di galina

A symbol of tailoring heritage, the "zampa di gallina" or "crow's foot" seam has its origins in the Neapolitan workshops of the last century. Used to secure buttons with elegant strength, this demanding technique was once reserved for the most refined shirts. Prized by true connoisseurs, it now embodies the cult of detail.
